Japanese interior furnishing home decoration chain Muji has registered its trademark in Russia. The company first expressed its intention to expand into Russia in 2005 when openly stating its target to double its number of overseas stores to 150. Currently, the company has 181 stores worldwide, of which 44 are in Europe.
